Silver Medal in Kumite

My first karate competition and I got silver (2nd place) in kumite-sparring. It was a long day, there was more children than adults but it was still good. I did Pinan Nidan pretty good for a red belt, unfortuntely I was against XX who is really good and experienced. I think I did well for my fist competiton and I'm glad I got a medal. I  thought I was going to get a medal for kata and not place for sparring, but nope the opposit. I was really nervous all day. (noon-6pm) The next karate competition is in November.
